ARIA Gladiator Warbird 660 i5-3570K GTX660 SLI OC Review

We used a calibrated meter to measure the power at the wall. No monitors were factored into the readings. The system power drain was measured in the following states:

Idle: when resting at the desktop.
CPU Load: Cinebench R11.5 64 bit benchmark run.
Gaming Load: 3Dmark 11 ‘combined test'.

The overclocked system is reasonably energy efficient. When both graphics cards are loaded the total demand rises to just under 300 watts.

  1. very nicely priced. Do they sell them with the OS and drivers all installed? would be ideal for my dad.

Interesting to see power consumption tests too. I would have thought that system would be closer to 500w under load. Amazing how wrong I was.

  2. DIdnt even know they made systems. thats very good. I actually like the idea of not paying for another OS as ive 10 licenses of Windows 7 !

    great review

  3. The only thing id change would be the case? do they offer even a white case? Those piano black designs drive me nuts too. My last case was like that and it was a mess everytime I looked at it.

  4. @DAVIS – Yes we do. Just call the sales team who can make a note of this during test stage.

@JOE – We can swap out the case no problems. Just give our sales team a call who will be happy to help you.

Aria have increased the price by £200 to £1200 so this is no longer a bargain, in fact it is way overpriced and Aria are basically conning peeps by linking to kitguru – kitguru should remove their recommendation as the system has increased in price.
