Ambient noise in the room is around 20-25dBa. We measure from a distance of around 1 meter from the closed chassis and 4 foot from the ground to mirror a real world situation.
Why do this? Well this means we can eliminate secondary noise pollution in the test room and concentrate on only the video card. It also brings us slightly closer to industry standards, such as DIN 45635.

The noise levels can be tuned … when the fans are on high, the system can be clearly heard. I would opt for the quietest fan settings as the air flow is fine and the whirring of the fans drops noticeably. The Gladiator Warbird 660 is always audible however so if you want a silent system, look elsewhere.

Interesting to see power consumption tests too. I would have thought that system would be closer to 500w under load. Amazing how wrong I was.
DIdnt even know they made systems. thats very good. I actually like the idea of not paying for another OS as ive 10 licenses of Windows 7 !

The only thing id change would be the case? do they offer even a white case? Those piano black designs drive me nuts too. My last case was like that and it was a mess everytime I looked at it.

Aria have increased the price by £200 to £1200 so this is no longer a bargain, in fact it is way overpriced and Aria are basically conning peeps by linking to kitguru – kitguru should remove their recommendation as the system has increased in price.
