Vibox wants to level up your GPU for Black Friday

Black Friday is coming up this week, so we can expect plenty of sales and discounts across a range of stores, but UK system builder, Vibox, is doing things a little differently this year by offering free graphics card upgrades to those looking to buy a pre-built system. This means systems configured with a GTX 970 would get a free upgrade to a GTX 980 instead.

This offer applies to a pretty big group of graphics cards from both AMD and Nvidia, including the R9 380, R9 390 and R9 390x, or the GTX 960, GTX 970, GTX 980 or GTX 980Ti. Some lower end cards are also included though there are some exceptions. For example, you can't get a free upgrade from a GTX 980Ti to a Titan X, and it doesn't look like AMD's Fury cards are included.

In order to take advantage of this offer, you will need to use the code ‘LEVELUP' at the checkout, it is limited to 100 uses and live right now so anyone thinking about grabbing a pre-built system through Vibox will need to act fast. The offer officially runs out on the 30th of November at midnight.
