Overall, the Cyberpower Ultra 3 RX gaming system is a good performer with no glaring weaknesses and strong 1080P gaming results.
The combination of Ryzen 3 3300X CPU and ASRock Radeon RX 5600 XT Challenger D graphics card are ideal for budget systems. Cyberpower's decision to use the cost-effective Wraith CPU cooler is OK for the CPU boost clocks and temperatures. ASRock's graphics card performed well and remained cool throughout, despite the fact that a zero RPM fan mode did not operate.
I was particularly pleased by Cyberpower's choice of SSD. The ADATA SX8200 Pro NVMe SSD is a high-quality offering that is a tier above bargain-basement PCIe 3.0 x4 alternatives. Its metal strip aids with cooling and the read and write performance is strong. Perhaps a larger SATA alternative to this NVMe drive would be preferred by some users, but that is down to individual preference.
The 16GB of 3200MHz C16 memory worked fine and served well for our gaming tests, even though the secondary timings are not particularly good. 3200MHz is fine and Corsair's modules are reliable. But 16-20-20 is undeniably loose for the secondary timings, even on a system of this price.
Build quality is very good and the cable management is superb. I like the ARGB fans and the remote control system but some may prefer software RGB control in order to sync with other components.
The fans always running at full speed is certainly annoying and clearly the biggest issue with this system in our opinion. Plus, the PSU is fine but not from a vendor that many people will see as particularly high quality.
Looking at a list of comparable parts to purchase and build yourself, the core components would cost close to £800 excluding the Windows key. There is clearly a premium paid for the work carried out by Cyberpower and the peace of mind with a build warranty. We think the £879 price tag is perfectly reasonable, though, and it is actually competitive when focussing on comparable builds from competing system builders.

Pros:
- Smart choice of components – 3300X and 5600 XT work very well together for 1080P gaming.
- Adequate cooling for the CPU, graphics card, and SSD.
- Fast NVMe boot SSD and a good HDD.
- Excellent cable management.
- Aesthetically appealing lighting from the ARGB fans.
- Excellent RGB control through the remote.
- Solid chassis with a pair of tempered glass panels.
Cons:
- Idle and low-load noise levels are higher than they need to be.
- Looser timings than we would have liked on the RAM.
- Many users may prefer a PSU from a more well-known brand such as Corsair or EVGA.
KitGuru says: A well-built, fairly-priced budget system that offers stellar 1080P gaming performance.
