Gaming Performance

We ran a couple of gaming benchmarks at 1440p and 1080p to get a feel for the combination of Ryzen 9 7900X and RX 6800 XT, although it was clear from our previous reviews the hardware would perform well.

Borderlands 3 at 1440p

In Borderlands 3 at 1440p the frame rate remains north of 100fps and provides a superb experience.

Borderlands 3 at 1080p

Borderlands 3 at 1080p pushes the frame rate above 150fps and puts you in the region where you require a high refresh monitor to get the best from the PC.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider at 1440p

Shadow of the Tomb Raider flies along at 1440p , again passing 150fps, demonstrating the power of this PC.

Shadow of the Tomb Raider at 1080p

Shadow of the Tomb Raider at 1080p races along at 250fps on average, which shows just how much grunt you get from the new Ryzen 9.
