Cyberpower Ultra 33 PC Bundle Review

Our synthetic GPU benchmark, 3DMark Fire Strike scored evenly across the board, hitting over 10,000 points for the graphics score.

Now, let’s get to some real-world FPS tests. Usually with a system review we’d max out the settings to see just how much we can squeeze from the components, however; this time around as I’m reviewing the experience from the standpoint of a new PC gamer, I wanted to show more realistic performance results for how this system is intended to be used. As such, I chose to run games on Medium or recommended pre-set settings as our GTX 1650 4GB is a lower end card and also, we stuck to 1080p only as the MSI monitor is a 1080p 75Hz screen.

Starting strong with Forza 4 we managed to break 100 FPS for the only time during our testing with acceptable 1% lows too. This was with medium settings, dynamic optimisation off and vsync off too.

The Division 2 often makes systems struggle but on medium preset, vsync off and reduced latency off we saw a respectable 74 FPS average and just under 50 FPS for the 1% lows. This played excellently and I didn’t notice the dips in performance at all.

Another strong contester is Resident Evil 2 remake, using recommended settings with Vsync off, hitting 91 FPS and almost 70 FPS for the 1% lows. Again, this is super playable and the lowered preset still looked great at 1080p.

The hardest to run of these games is of course Shadow of the Tomb Raider, even on medium settings with vsync off we only just broke 50 FPS, with the 1% lows just under 40 FPS but I must admit even at 50 FPS the experience was still enjoyable.

Lastly, we have DOOM eternal, medium settings, resolution scaling off and vsync off, breaking 70 FPS here with 54FPS on the 1% lows, this is a super-fast paced game and I think the results were great considering how many enemies are on screen at any one time. It played well and I had fun!
