Crystalmark is a useful benchmark to measure theoretical performance levels of hard drives and SSD’s. We are using V3.0 x64.
Fantastic, class leading sequential performance in the read test, achieving a final throughput of 517.3 MB/s.
4K QD32 Performance is very impressive, falling just a little short of the 240GB drives. We then retested with the alternative ‘compressible’ setting called 0×00 fill.
As we expected, under 0x00 conditions, write performance is increased considerably.
Sequential read and write performance is better than the OCZ Agility 3 240GB and OCZ Vertex 3 Max IOPS 240GB drives. 4k QD32 read performance is still held by the MAX IOPS drive (with a staggering 268.3MB/s), but the write performance of this drive is slightly weaker.
Excellent, these drives have been getting rave reviews. Seem slightly overpriced as the review says. perhaps they will drop a little more
£80 extra when compared to the ordinary 2281 powered OCZ drives, is too much to pay. I do agree, if the price hits £200 then its an excellent choice due to ultimate speeds, especially sequentual !
Very nice indded. I need to snag an ssd soon for my laptop
Bit expensive. Our local store has a 120gb vertex 3 for 145 inc
The problem in the toshiba nand, its mega costly
Ocz for me, they update their firmwares all the time, which is very important
