The front of box has a large image of the drive on it, under which are displayed the maximum Sequential read/write performance figures. The drive's capacity is displayed on the tab at the top of the box.
The back of the box has the Sequential speeds listed again plus some multi-lingual marketing notes.
The NS200 is built on a standard 2.5in, 7mm format using a plastic enclosure.
The 480GB drive uses a compact PCB to house all the components.
On one side of the board sits the 4-channel Silicon Motion SM2258 controller, two NAND packages (although these carry Lexar branding, the product code identifies them as Micron 64-layer 3D TLC NAND) and a SK hynix H5TQ4G63CFR DDR3-2133 DRAM chip. The reverse side of the board is home to another pair of NAND packages.
Lexar's SSD utility goes under the name of SSD Dash. It's nowhere near as fully featured as some of its competitors' software utilities, for example Samsung or WD, but it does offer all the basic information you might need to keep an eye on your drive in an easy to understand way. It also supports Secure Erase.
