AS SSD is a great free tool designed just for benching Solid State Drives. It performs an array of sequential read and write tests, as well as random read and write tests with sequential access times over a portion of the drive. AS SSD includes a sub suite of benchmarks with various file pattern algorithms but this is difficult in trying to judge accurate performance figures.
The impressive performance continues with the AS SSD benchmark where the drive flies into the number one slot on our graph. The drive has particularly strong 4K performance at deeper queue depths while the 4K write performance at shallower depths is also pretty good. Not so strong is the 4K read performance at a shallow queue depth.

How do you not have the Samsung 850 EVO/PRO in any of your comparison charts? The 850 is the “go-to” SSD in terms of being the best all around, so the fact that you do not compare the Corsair XTi to the Samsung 850, means that your review is essentially worthless, as now I have to look elsewhere for a review that DOES include the 850 for comparison.
