Corsair MP600 Mini 2TB SSD Review

We used CrystalDiskMark 8‘s custom settings to test the 4K random read performance of the drive through a range of queue depths. The setup for the tests is listed below.

Transfer Request Size: 4KB, Outstanding I/O: 1-32.

The 2TB MP600 Mini is officially rated as up to 750,000 IOPS for random reads. Using our 4-threaded random read test we couldn't get close to the official maximum as the best we saw was 377,060 IOPS (1,544.44MB/s) at QD32.

4K Random Read v QD Performance

At QD 1 the drive is the fastest M.2 2230 drive we've seen to date but after that, it drops to second spot for all the remaining tested queue depths.
