We used CrystalDiskMark 8‘s custom settings to test the Sequential read and write performance of the drive through a range of queue depths. The setup for the tests is listed below.
128KB Sequential Read / Write.
Transfer Request Size: 128KB, Thread(s): 1, Outstanding I/O: 1-32.
Using this Sequential performance test we can confirm the official Sequential 7,000MB/s reads, and 6,200MB/s writes ratings of the 2TB MP600 Mini with a read test result of 7,305MB/s and 6,268MB/s for writes.
128KB Sequential Read v QD compared.
The drive sits in second place in our results chart at QD1,2 and 4 behind WD's Black SN770M (in the case of QD1 and 2, quite some way behind) but at QD32 the Corsair drive has the upper hand with a test result of 7,305MB/s, some 2,072MB/s faster than the WD drive.
128KB Sequential Write v QD compared.
When it comes to the Sequential writes the drive outperforms all the other M.2 2230 drives at all the test queue depths by quite some distance apart from QD1 where the results are much closer.
