We used CrystalDiskMark 8 to test the random performance of the drive at lower queue depths (QD1 – QD8 where most of the everyday workloads occur) using 1 to 4 threads.

Random Read

In the random read test, the drive performance climbs smoothly from QD1 through to QD8 in all the tested threads. At QD1 the performance ranges from 20,514 IOPS (84.14MB/s) using a single thread up to 77,153 IOPS (316,01MB/s) using four. At the end of the test run at QD8, the single-thread test produced a test result of 121,961 IOPS (499.55MB/s) while the four-threaded test produced a score of 289,508 IOPS (1,185.83MB/s).

Random Write

The MP600 Mini's write performance climbs smoothly from QD1 to QD2 where the performance levels off until the end of the test run for all threads.
