Corsair MP600 Elite with Heatsink 2TB Review

We took note of the drive’s temperature during some of our benchmarking runs.

The factory-fitted heatsink on this version of the Corsair MP600 Elite works well as the hottest the drive got under testing was 49° C (CrystalDiskMark 8 – default write test) which is 16°C under the maximum stated operating temperature. For the non-4 K tests the drive averaged 36.4°C while for the 4K-based tests, the average was 38.2°C.
