IOMeter is another open source synthetic benchmarking tool which is able to simulate the various loads placed on hard drive and solid state drive technology.

 

IOMETER shows us the 4kb random read and write performance. This drive just misses its performance targets of 70k for both, with 55k on the write and 61k on the read.
