Very weak performance in the 4k tests when it comes to incompressible data – ranking at the bottom of our chart, above the mechanical Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB drive. By comparison – the Samsung 840 Evo 1TB drive is close to the top of the chart.

Sequential performance is strong however hitting 537.7MB and 495.1 MB/s in the read and write tests respectively.

It is clear this drive favours compressible data as the 4k and 4k QD32 results increased substantially when we enabled the 0xFill mode. The 4kQD32 write test for instance increased from 55.45 MB/s to 338MB/s.
