Teamgroup announces T-Force Cardea Z44L M.2 PCIe 4.0 SSD and T-Create external SSD

Teamgroup is expanding its storage solution portfolio with two completely different products: the T-Force Cardea Z44L PCIe 4.0 M.2 SSD aimed at gamers and the T-Create Classic Thunderbolt 3 external SSD for creators.

Featuring SLC cache and a thin graphene heat sink that improves heat dissipation by 9%, the T-Force Cardea Z44L is a flexible SSD available in 500GB and 1TB capacities. This new SSD is capable of up to 3500/3000 MB/s read/write speeds and up to 263K/382K IOPS thanks to the PCIe 4.0 interface, making it a solid choice for any build. The SSD's endurance is above average, rated for 400TBW (1TB model) and 200TBW (500GB model), and reliability too, with a rated MTBF of 3M hours.

The T-Create Classic external SSD’s impressive 2,700MB/s speed is achieved through a combination of the PCIe 3.0 interface and Thunderbolt 3. While using the USB 3.2 Gen2 interface, speed maxes at 900MB/s. The casing is made of silver-coloured aluminium and works as a heatsink, providing passive cooling and protection from dust and drops. Available with up to 4TB of storage, this SSD is suited for creators moving large files.

Both SSDs are expected to release later this month. The 500GB Cardea Z44L will be available for $74.99 and the 1TB model for $166.99. As for the T-Create Classic external SSD, prices start at $249.99 for the 1TB model, $449.99 for the 2TB model and $899.99 for the 4TB model.
