Crucial unveils new P2 QLC M.2 NVMe Client SSD

Crucial has just released its new P2 QLC M.2 NVMe SSD. Currently available in both 250GB and 500GB capacities, the Crucial P2 is an all-around SSD for any type of workload and system, be it for gaming, office work or a laptop.

Thanks to the NVMe technology, the Crucial P2 500GB can reach up to 2300MB/s for sequential reads, and 940 MB/s for sequential writes, while the 250GB model reaches up to 2100MB/s and 1150 MB/s for sequential writes and reads, respectively. The life expectancy (MTTF) of the Crucial P2 is around 1.5 million hours and the drive's endurance of both models is 150 TBW.

The Crucial P2 comes included with “Acronis True Image for Crucial” software and Crucial Storage Executive for performance optimisation, data security, and firmware updates. The features of the P2 include TRIM support, RAIN (Redundant Array of Independent NAND), adaptive thermal protection, multistep data integrity algorithms,  dynamic write acceleration, NVMe APST (Autonomous power state transition) support, SMART (Self-Monitoring and Reporting Technology), integrated power loss immunity, active garbage collection,  and ECC (Error Correction Code).

The Crucial P2 SSD, in both 250GB and 500GB capacities, is available now at Crucial web store and comes with a 5-year warranty. The 250GB model is priced at £52.79/$54.99, while the 500GB model is priced at £62.39/$64.99. You can learn more about the Crucial P2 HERE.
