Visiontek 800W Modular Power Supply Review

The Visiontek power supply is shipped in a plain black and white box with a photograph of the power supply at the right. The output capacity and 80 Plus Bronze certification are listed, alongside SLI and Crossfire certification.

Inside, the power supply is protected bubblewrap with a user manual resting above. The modular cables are visible next to the chassis.

Visiontek supply a couple of cable ties, mounting screws and a regional specific power cable. The power supply isn't a pure modular design.

Above left, the modular cables, which are high grade and sleeved. Above right is the hard wired cable with the 4+4 CPU connector.

  7. Looks a well made PSU, nice to see VisionTek getting a bit more presence these lately and the I often ride my bike past the company HQs in the summer, since they are located along the a familiar bike path where I live.
