NZXT sent us the black version of the C1500 for this review and when we checked we were told a white version will be forthcoming in the future. This PSU measures 150mm (width) x 86 mm (height) x 180 mm (depth).
The top of the unit is ventilated for airflow – we will get a closer look at the fan when we open the chassis.
The power side of the PSU has a C19 connector, with a power switch and ‘zero fan' button. This will push the fan into a silent state until a specific amount of load is demanded from the PSU.
The reverse side of the PSU is home to the modular bay which is split across three rows, all cleanly labelled for ease of use during the installation phase of the build. There are two 12V 2×6 connectors bottom right of the bay.
This sticker was highly reflective so to clarify the power output figures we have the following:
+3.3A/+5A 22A (120W)
+12V: 125A (1500W)
5Vsb: 3A (15W)
Yes, as expected this is a monster PSU, delivering 125A via a single +12V rail.
