The cables are the same structure as the 1200W model we reviewed at the end of 2016. They are ribbon style which makes routing easier during the build phase. There are 6x 6+2 pin PCIe connectors with the 1050w edition. The 1200W edition shipped with a staggering 12. There are also a 4+4 pin and an 8 pin 12V EPS connector to deliver power to two high end processors.
Nice review. I hate those flat cables especially when you have a lot of sharp bends straight out of the PSU and through small covered holes in the case, they are a nightmare to fold, I’d much rather have a braided cable similar too the type used in my last Enermax and Super flower. Same with the aesthetics of the GPU cables, I’d rather have a braided cable.
What the? How can a Platinum design become a Titanium one? Throughout the article it is platinum, but in “KitHuru says”, you change it to titanium. ?… Hmm, slip of the fingers me says 😉
