The Cooler Master PSU is very nicely finished and due to the design it feels heavy when you take it out of the box. We weighed the PSU at around 2.7kg. It measures 180 x 150 x 86 mm (L x W x H). Cooler Master are using clean lines for this design and they have adopted a glossy UV screen printing to give it a very three dimensional appearance.
From the top down there is a lot of space on view without a fan taking up room at the top. There are plenty of perforations across the top and side panels to ensure plenty of air can be flowed in and out of the chassis itself.
As we showed earlier there are heatpipes inside the chassis to help remove heat from the unit. The whole part of this lower chassis is designed to act like a giant heatsink – exactly what you see above.
One side of the chassis is home to the power button and connector, of course there's no semi-passive fan buttons on this unit!
The other side is home to the modular bay. This has 16 sockets, including a native 12V-2×6 slot. The top right row in the image above has three sockets for the USB interface, the PMBus and also for connecting an external fan.
The power supply can deliver 20A on +3.3V and +5V rails. The +12V rail can output 91.6A for a total of 1099.2 watts.
