be quiet! is brand of the year for power supplies in 2011

be quiet! scored first place in reader's survey for best power supply brand at German Hardwareluxx. It is one of the biggest online publications for computer hardware with their own quarterly print magazine. Even more, their readers are known for being a very enthusiastic and well informed community.

One of the biggest online communities in Germany

For the first time, Hardwareluxx started a survey to find out the people's most favorite brands in 2011. They have one of the strongest online communities throughout the German media landscape with over 150,000 members. In twelve categories, Hardwareluxx offered multiple choice answers to crown the most popular manufacturers in Germany during the last year. There was nothing to win for the participants, so these are especially honest answers from a special group of people who really do care about good products and mostly know a lot about IT. “For our readers, be quiet! has been one of the most appreciated brands for power supplies for several years. The survey finally puts this into black and white. Congratulations!” is how Dennis Bode, Editor-in-Chief commented on be quiet!'s success.

Doubly special because it comes from the readers

It is a special pleasure for be quiet! to have won the first place in this category. Many people voted for the German company with its high standards on performance and silence. “be quiet! has won hundreds of awards over the years in Germany, our home market. Each one is important but this award from Hardwareluxx is doubly special because it comes from their readers. The enthusiasts who really know these products believe in and rely on be quiet! to give them the highest quality with market-leading quietness. We thank them all for their support!”, said Scott Richards, Global Brand Director at be quiet!
