FSP unveils new VITA GM ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 compliant modular power supplies

FSP has impressed us with its power supplies in recent years. This week, the company is ushering in a new range of VITA GM power supplies, offering up to 1000W in black or white, complete with modular cables, a host of protection functions and built to the latest standards for a future-proofed build.

The VITA GM is an 80Plus Gold modular power supply with clean design elements and built with high-quality materials, including 105°C Japanese bulk capacitors, renowned for their durability. Following Intel's proposed ATX 3.1 standard, as well as PCIe 5.1, the VITA GM is built to deliver 17ms at 80% load hold-up time compared to the standard 12ms at 100%, ensuring stable flow of power and safety against sudden power outages, inrush current, and critical power surges.

The table below has all the details on available models and prices in USD. UK availability is still to be confirmed. Do note that there is no sales tax or VAT applied to these prices, so actual retail prices could vary a bit:

Color Model MSRP
Black VITA-1000GM $159
VITA-850GM $139
VITA-750GM $119
VITA-650GM $99
White VITA-1000GM $164
VITA-850GM $144

The series boasts an impressive efficiency rate of over 90% at typical loads. For cooling, you'll find a 120mm hydraulic bearing fan, and better yet, the PSU is built into a compact casing measuring in at just 140 x 150 x 86mm, making it an ideal choice for space-limited setups. Other features include OCP (Overcurrent Protection), OVP (Over Voltage Protection), SCP (Short Circuit Protection), OPP (Over Power Protection), UVP (Under Voltage Protection), and OTP (Over Temperature Protection).
