Fractal Design launches new Edison M modular PSUs

Fractal Design has just launched its new range of Edison M modular power supplies with 80 Plus Gold efficiency certification. These new PSUs will feature Japanese capacitors with a full protection suite, including over-temperature protection and a temperature controlled FDB-bearing 120mm fan.

You'll be able to pick up the Edison M in 450W, 550W, 650W and 750W capacities. The range starts at £62.99 and goes all the way up to £89.99, which is pretty good pricing for a gold rated modular power supply. All models are ATX 2.4 compliant with full support for the new C6 and C7 power states introduced with Intel's 4th Generation Haswell CPUs.

These power supplies are technically semi-modular as the essential cables are non-removable. All Edison M power supplies will come with a five year warranty. The protection suite also includes Over Power Protection, Over Voltage Protection, Short Circuit Protection, Under Voltage Protection and Over Current Protection.

There's no availability information right now but we will update this story when there is.
