SilentiumPC announces the Vero L3 and M3 power supplies

SilentiumPC is set to update its Vero L and M series of power supplies, with new L3 and M3 units. Utilising a simple and modern design, both the L3 and the M3 are available with different wattages, using a DC-DC design, and 80-Plus Bronze certification.

The Vero L3 is a standard fixed-cable PSU available in 500W, 600W, and 700W models, while the Vero M3 is a semi-modular PSU available in both 600W and 700W models. The 80-Plus Bronze certification in these models ensures that they maintain reasonable efficiency at any load, while the DC-DC converter and the “Taiwanese electrolytic and aluminum-polymer (solid state) Teapo capacitors” are certified to operate at up to 105ºC.

According to Guru3D, the included Quiet Sigma HP 120mm fan uses Hydraulic Bearing (HBS), spinning at up to ±1150rpm to keep the PSU's operation at a low level of noise across any load. Additionally, the flexible flat cables of these PSUs should make them easier to route and are “less obvious” in a system thanks to their black colour.

All the Vero L3 and M3 PSUs feature Over Voltage Protection (OVP), Short Circuit Protection (SCP), Over Power Protection (OPP), Surge and Inrush Protection (SIP), and Under Voltage Protection (UVP). The included connectors are 1x main 24-pin, 2x PCIe 6/8-pin (3x in 700W models), 2x Molex, 2x CPU 4/8-pin (1x in the 500W L3), and 7x SATA. The Vero M3 models come with 2x EPS 8-pin (4+4), 2x triple SATA, 1× double Molex + SATA and 2x PCI-E 8-pin (2x 6+2) (3x for the 700W model).

The Vero L3 and M3 are available now with a three-year warranty in the European market, but details about pricing were not shared. If you want to learn more about the SilentiumPC Vero L3 and M3 line of power supplies, click HERE.
