Antec launches new range of PC power supplies

Although Antec is commonly known for outlandish and wacky PC case designs, the company also produces other PC hardware components and accessories. Antec currently has a broad range of PC power supplies and has added a new line to these products.

Antec has announced the introduction of its new line of NeoECO Gold Zen PC power supplies. The new range includes designs with power ratings of 500W, 600W and a flagship 700W model. All three variants of the new PSUs are 80+ Gold certified to offer 92% efficiency, which could reduce electricity consumption by as much as 20%.

The NeoECO Zen Gold series features a half-bridge LLC design with a synchronous rectification based on a DC-DC topology, with 100% Japanese capacitors used during manufacture to offer the tightest DC stability and regulation, to provide reliability you can count on. Antec NeoECO Zen Gold power supplies are built to the PSU guideline of ATX12V 2.4 specification and are compatible with the latest generation of CPUs.

A feature of the new Antec NeoECO Zen Gold power PSU series is a whisper-quiet 120mm fan that is controlled by Antec’s Thermal Manager. Industrial-grade circuit protection is provided by CircuitShield which makes the NeoECO Zen Gold range one of the best choices currently available, according to Antec. The NeoECO Zen Gold series claims to be manufactured from high-quality capacitors and low-noise transformers to provide clean, stable power and low noise.

A five-year warranty will be supplied with the NeoECO Zen Gold range with prices starting from $69.99 for the NE500G, $79.99 for the NE600G and the top of the range NE700G will be $89.99. For more information on the Antec NeoECO Zen Gold range check out the official Antec pages.
