Thermaltake launches Smart BM2 semi modular PSUs

Thermaltake is expanding its lineup of power supplies this week with the new Smart BM2 PSU series. These are 80Plus Bronze certified units, hitting wattages from 450W all the way up to 750W.

The new Smart BM2 line-up consists of four semi-modular PSUs – having a capacity of 450W, 550W, 650W, and 750W. While the maximum power capacities are different, all other features remain the same across each unit. They all have a dimension of 150mm(W) x 86mm(H) x 160mm(D) and a 140 mm fan that has a speed of 2300 R.P.M. ± 10%.

Thermaltake's new PSUs have a mean time between failure (MTBF) of 100,000 hours minimum and the company is willing to back its products with a 5-year warranty. Since these are semi-modular PSUs, you do get additional connections. In the 650W and 750W models, you get four PCI-E 6+2 pin connectors and two with the 450W and 550W models.

We don't have pricing and availability information just yet, but you can keep an eye out for these on the Thermaltake website.
