MONTECH launches new TITAN PLA power supply unit

MONTECH has announced a new Power Supply Unit series in its first collaboration with Seasonic. Available now, the TITAN PLA is a “premium platinum-rated” PSU supporting up to 1200W while sustaining a 90% efficiency rating.

Starting at $159 for the 750W variant (and going up to $229 for 1200W), the TITAN PLS power supply unit was developed in collaboration with Seasonic over the course of 18 months.

Available in 4 forms, all variants support the latest ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1 standards for future-proofing; with 2X the power excursion and 3X GPU excursion.

Despite the high power flow, the TITAN PLA has received 80 PLUS and Cybenetics Platinum certifications with a 90% efficiency. In addition, the PSU features a Cybenetics LAMBDA A+ certified 135mm “ultra-quiet FDB fan” – which includes a ‘zero fan’ mode for minimal noise during stretches of low loads (15-20%).

Last but not least, the PSU is packaged with “luxurious embossed cables” which are 63% softer, 0.6mm thinner yet 39% more dense than traditional cables; helping with both aesthetics and power transfer efficiency.

The MONTECH TITAN PLA is available now, and includes OPP, OVP, UVP, SCP, OCP, and OTP protections alongside a 10 year warranty for peace of mind.

KitGuru says: What do you think of this new series? How important is efficiency to you? Would you utilise the ‘no fan’ mode? Let us know down below.
