Performance groupings are very tight in our trio of CPU-heavy benchmarks. MSI's Z170A SLI Plus sits in joint-bottom position in Cinebench, likely due to its minor CPU Cache frequency reduction versus many competing boards.

Our Handbrake and 7-Zip tests sit MSI's offering amongst the majority of other Z170 options, with no glaring performance issues being highlighted.
