MSI rolls out support for next-gen Intel CPUs on 600-series motherboards

Following Asus and ASRock, MSI is now also adding support for upcoming 13th Gen Core “Raptor Lake” processors to some of its existing 600-series motherboards. The respective BIOS update is already available for many models, and MSI will also support the new processors on mid-range H670, B660 and H610 motherboards, as well as high-end Z690 models.

Most 600-series motherboards currently available will support the upcoming 13th Gen Core chips. However, to run the new CPUs, consumers need to update their motherboards with a new BIOS released by the vendors. ASRock was the first to make a BIOS update available for its boards, followed by Asus a week later. Another week has passed since then, and now it's time for MSI to join the list.

The complete list of motherboards getting support for Intel 13th Gen Core chips can be found below:

If you're thinking about updating your BIOS, you should visit the MSI support page and follow their guidelines. Depending on your motherboard, there may be more than one method to update your BIOS (M-Flash, Flash BIOS button). Choose one and follow MSI's instructions closely.
