Listed ASRock X670E motherboards start at less than £300

After seeing the pricing of the MSI X670E boards in the US, we started to wonder if all these motherboards would be that expensive. Fortunately, it seems that won't be the case, at least based on the ASRock X670E board listings that were recently found.

Leaker @momomo_us found listings of multiple ASRock X670E motherboards on French and British retailers. From what we've gathered, ASRock will launch five X670E motherboards. At £647/€693 and £617/€661, the X670E Taichi Carrara and X670E Taichi motherboards will be aimed at enthusiasts and overclockers looking for the best money can buy.

Then, we have the mid- and entry-level-oriented motherboards. These are the X670E Steel Legend for £385/€412, the X670E Pro RS at £348/€373, and the X670E PG Lightning for £312/€334. Assuming these prices are accurate, they're within the X670 pricing territory, making them an “affordable” option for anyone looking for full PCIe 5.0 support across graphics and storage.

Besides these motherboards, we expect ASRock will also release an Aqua series X670E motherboard. Considering the pricing of these motherboards, the Aqua one will likely get closer to the £1000/€1000 mark. However, the Aqua boards are usually water loop-ready, packing a built-in water block covering the socket.

KitGuru says: If this pricing is accurate then ASRock will have more affordable options for those looking to get the full PCIe 5.0 upgrade.
