Gigabyte introduces its first Reverse Connector motherboard for AM5 CPUs

The Gigabyte Aorus Stealth Ice is the company's first AM5 motherboard to sport the new Reverse Connector design, which moves power connectors to the back of the motherboard. The end result is a sleek full-cover front design, with no PCB or power connectors to be seen

The Aorus Stealth Ice (via VideoCardz) is the world's first white AMD board with reverse connectors and Gigabyte's first AMD board with reverse connectors. It uses a robust 12+2+2 VRM configuration with a 60 Amp DrMOS layout, which should be more than enough to handle the current Ryzen 7000 series flagship processors and the upcoming Ryzen 9000 series CPUs. On the rear of the board, users will find a range of connection options, including HDMI 2.1, USB Type-C, 2.5 Gbps Ethernet, and a new WiFi EZ-Plug for the WiFi antenna, linked to a MediaTek WiFi 7 / Bluetooth 5.4 module.

As for expansion capabilities, the Aorus Stealth Ice features a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot, two CPU-linked M.2 sockets (one PCIe 5.0 and one PCIe 4.0), and a third PCIe 4.0 M.2 socket through the chipset. Additionally, it accommodates four SATA 6 Gbps drives for those requiring extra storage. Notable features include an internal HDMI 1.4 connection for the company's LCD Edge View display, along with various connection options on the rear, such as USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 (20 Gbps), USB 3.2 (5 Gbps), USB 2.0 connectors, and various fan and LED headers.

With an array of USB ports, audio jacks, and a Q-Flash Plus button, the Aorus Stealth Ice offers plenty of connectivity options to fulfil your needs. The list of cases compatible with this board can be found HERE.
