Super Pi is used by a huge audience, particularly to check stability when overclocking processors. If a system is able to calculate PI to the 2 millionth pace after the decimal without mistake, it is considered to be stable in regards to RAM and CPU.
In this test we can see how the single threaded performance improves when overclocked.
I used one of these boards recently. well not the same board, but an asrock Z77 board and the fact they put in all those automatic overclocking features is better than anyone elses. I dont think ASUS do that do they? you are expected to have good knowledge of the hardware to get good boosts.
ASROCK are in many ways leading the path IMO.
