G.Skill Trident Z5 Royal DDR5-6400MT/s 64GB Review

Gaming (1080p)

Final Fantasy XIV – Dawntrail Benchmark

Using the Ultra quality settings the G.Skill Trident Z5 Royal 6400 memory sits in last place in the results charts. Easing off the quality settings down to the Standard Desktop sees the memory shooting up the chart to lie in second place, behind Kingston's Fury Beast DDR5-5200 modules.

Total War Pharaoh – Battle Benchmark

In the Total War Pharaoh Battle benchmark, the G.Skill Trident Z5 Royal 6400 memory set sits in the top five in the results chart using Ultra settings and top of the table when using the Low settings, but truth be told there's hardly anything in it between any of the modules in this test.

Cyberpunk 2077

Regardless of the quality settings the memory handles the Cyberpunk game benchmark pretty well. It's the third fastest we've seen to date with the Ultra settings enabled and somewhat oddly the fourth slowest with the low-quality settings turned on.
