G.Skill Trident Z5 Royal DDR5-6400MT/s 64GB Review

When it comes to the RGB, you can either use motherboard software to go with your existing scheme or G.Skill's Trident Z lighting control software. If you want to go down the former route, Asus Aura Sync, Gigabyte RGB Fusion 2.0, MSI Mystic Light Sync, and ASRock Polychrome Sync are all supported.

G.Skill's Trident Z lighting control software allows you to set up four profiles independently with their own custom light setup or turn the RGB off. The software has fourteen lightening effects and a wide colour palette to set up your desired effect. There are eight LED segments per module and in some of the effects (Static, Breathing, and Strobing) each segment can be assigned a different colour. Add to this that the modules can be set up together or act as individual units and some pretty eye-catching displays can be achieved.

There's also a Music Mode which can be customised but once enabled all the other profiles are disabled. However, in this mode, the modules will stay dark if there is no audio output.
