G.Skill denotes the Trident Z5 Royal family as the luxury-class of high-performance DDR5 memory and it certainly looks the part with mirror-finished aluminium heat spreaders and a crystalline light bar. Today we check out the 64GB kit rated at 6400MT/s.

G.Skill's Trident Z5 Royal range of DDR5 modules is pretty wide with six memory speeds and four kit capacity choices. Starting at 6400MT/s and then 7200MT/s,7600MT/s, 8000MT/s, 8200MT/s and the flagship (at the time of writing) 8400MT/s. The four kit capacities are 32GB (6400MT/s, 7200MT/s, 7600MT/s), 48GB (7200MT/s, 8000MT/s, 8200MT/s, 8400MT/s), 64GB (6400MT/s) and 96GB (6400MT/s).

For this review, G.Skill kindly provided one of the 64GB 6400MT/s kits rated at 32-39-39-102 at 1.40V.
