Both the AIDA64 and SiSoft Sandra synthetic memory benchmarks scale in a predictable way, showing that faster memory kits can deliver more throughput. However, as we move onto the real world tests it will become apparent that not all applications scale with such predictability.

The key thing to note is the extra performance is there, but whether applications are suited to harness that extra performance remains to be seen.
