G.Skill launches low-latency CL14 Trident Z Royal Elite memory

G.Skill is back with another kit of Trident Z Royal Elite memory. We've seen G.Skill push extreme speeds on DDR4 memory over the years, but this time around, the focus is on low-latency, delivering CL14 timings.

The latest Trident Z Royal Elite series memory comes in two variants, one running at 4000MHz and CL14-15-15-35 timings and another running at 3600MHz and CL14-14-14-34 timings.

These kits are built using Samsung 8Gb B-die ICs to achieve this balance between speed and low latency. For validation, G.Skill tested these kits on a system featuring an ASUS ROG STRIX Z590-E Gaming WiFi motherboard and an Intel Core i7-11700KF.

As far as capacity goes, G.Skill's new low-latency Trident Z Royal Elite memory will be available in kits ranging from 16GB (8GB x2) up to 128GB (16GB x8), making them ideal for workstations and productivity PCs. Retailers should start getting stock of these kits later this month.
