Corsair is launching its first workstation-grade DDR5 memory kits with up to 256GB capacity

Corsair has released plenty of DDR5 memory kits so far, but most of these are aimed at a gaming or enthusiast audience. Now, Corsair also has an option for workstation users, with new WS DDR5 RDIMM memory kits for Intel Xeon and AMD Ryzen Threadripper systems.

This new range of memory kits boasts capacities of up to 256GB, setting a new standard for memory-intensive tasks such as high-resolution media editing, 3D rendering, and AI training. Corsair also says these modules surpass JEDEC specifications with tighter timings and higher frequencies.

As these are workstation memory modules, ECC is in place, enabling real-time error detection and correction to keep data processing reliably. These kits also support both Intel XMP 3.0 and AMD EXPO, so you can get optimal performance with just a few clicks in the BIOS, no matter is you're running on AMD or Intel.

Some of the first Corsair WS DDR5 kits will offer include 4x 16GB kits (64GB), 8x 16GB kits (128GB), 4x 32GB kits (128GB), and 8x 32GB kits for a massive 256GB of high-speed DDR5 memory. For speeds, Corsair promises frequencies up to 6400MT/s.
