G.Skill and Asus break DDR5 memory overclocking record

In an impressive display of engineering prowess, G.Skill and Asus ROG have shattered the previous world record for DDR5 memory frequency. Professional overclocker safedisk has pushed a G.Skill kit to DDR5-12112, setting a new world record for achieving the highest stable DDR5 memory frequency.

To set the new record, safedisk used G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB DDR5 memory, the Asus ROG Maximus Z890 Apex motherboard, and an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K CPU cooled using liquid nitrogen, showcasing the memory overclocking capabilities of the latest Intel platform.

The record submission has been verified, and confirmation posted on HWBOT and CPU-Z. In the latter, you can see the overclocker used a single 24GB memory stick (8800J4255H24G) running with 52-92-92-127-2 timings. Moreover, you can also see the CPU P-cores were downclocked to run at 3.0GHz, while the E-cores were disabled.
