Corsair launches Vengeance RGB DDR5 memory

Corsair is expanding its memory line-up with new Vengeance RGB DDR5 modules. The memory modules will be available in black or white, with a light bar on top of the heat spreader with ten individually addressable RGB LEDs underneath.

Initially, the black and white Vengeance DDR5 memory kits will be available as 32GB kits (2x16GB) clocked up to 6,400MHz. However, the manufacturer stated we should soon see faster kits clocked at 6,600MHz and up to 64GB (2x32GB) of capacity.

Regardless of which kit or colour you choose, all Vengeance RGB DDR5 memory modules feature an addressable ten-zone RGB lighting bar that goes across the whole module. Like many other Corsair products with RGB lighting, you should use iCUE software to customise it. Moreover, you can synchronise the RGB colouring and lighting effects with other iCUE-compatible products in your system or use the software's real-time RGB lighting integration with select games. Lastly, the iCUE software allows you to save custom XMP 3.0 profiles and control the voltage set to the memory.

Corsair stated that all Vengeance RGB DDR5 memory modules use hand-sorted, tightly-screened memory chips and high-quality PCBs to ensure they meet their specifications.

Some kits are already available, starting at €259.99/£224.99 for the 32GB kit clocked at 5,200MHz (C40) and going up to €359.99/£309.99 for the 32GB kit at 6,400MHz (C38). A 32GB kit at 6,600MHz (C32) is already listed, but pricing is still unknown.

KitGuru says: Up to now, Corsair has only offered RGB on its Dominator Platinum DDR5 memory modules. Now, there are cheaper options for those looking to make the jump to DDR5.
