AMD has announced new CPUs for both laptops and desktops at CES this week, but what about gaming handhelds? For the next generation of handheld gaming systems, AMD is offering up the Ryzen Z2 series, consisting of the Ryzen Z2, the Ryzen Z2 Extreme and the Ryzen Z2 Go.
These CPUs use Zen 5 CPU cores and RDNA 3.5 graphics cores, all while keeping the TDP under 35W. These chips should improve performance compared to the previous generation, while also offering better battery life thanks to efficiency improvements.
