MSI MEG Z690 Godlike – By Invitation Only

AIDA64 Memory Test

AIDA64 Memory Test gives the Godlike a clear win, albeit thanks to the bundled 32GB of Kingston Fury Beast DDR5-5200 which has a distinct advantage over the other configurations. This isn't a fair apples-to-apples however we will gladly take the win for the Godlike.

CPU Temperature in Blender

The CPU Temperature test in Blender looks excellent for the Godlike, although we are confident this is thanks to the bundled MEG CoreLiquid S360 AIO cooler rather than anything clever about the Godlike motherboard. Luke is working on a full review of the MEG CoreLiquid S360 AIO cooler and it will be fascinating to see what results he produces.

Power Consumption

The figures for power consumption tell us that MSI is taking a measured approach with the Godlike and the voltage settings are less aggressive than their Z690 Unify.

VRM Temperature Test

The MSI MEG Z690 Godlike has amazing VRM hardware and a superb cooling arrangement so it is no surprise to see the operating temperatures are very low. Having said that, the figures are directly comparable to the Gigabyte Z690 Aorus Master so there is clearly a limit to how far you can go with air cooling.
