Testing Overview
We have said it before and we will say it again, fast DDR4 yields marginal benefits in the real world. You can see huge gains in synthetic benchmarks however games do not respond especially well to fast memory where the maintain benefit is an increase in minimum frame rates.
There is something to be gained from higher clock speeds and in that context this 3200MHz memory is middle-of-the-range. 3600MHz counts as fast and north of 4000Mhz is very fast.
Balanced against that the 14-14-14-34 timings are very tight and certainly help performance. Good Samsung B-die is a pleasure to use and this particular memory is certainly good, although it is clear Corsair reserves much better chips for significantly faster kits that run up to 4266MHz and 4800MHz.
