ASRock 890GX Extreme4 Motherboard Review

Once again, ASRock have impressed us with a high-quality motherboard that performs well.  This board is excellent for overclocking, providing easy to use options for those who don't have the time or skills to overclock their system.  Even better, for those who do have the time and skills, there are a plethora of tweakable options.

ASRock certainly haven't skimped on features as the 890GX Extreme4 supports SATA3, eSATA3 and USB3.0 as well as almost everything else we could ask for.  They have also included a utility which allows the user to unlock hidden CPU cores.

The 890GX Extreme4 isn't currently available from any of the major UK etailers but it's available in the US for $140 at Newegg, which will probably translate into around £100 when it hits UK shelves.

KitGuru says: A well featured board that performed well in our tests and is devilishly simple to overclock.
