The ADATA packaging is very ‘Apple like' (not a bad thing), with a simple white box with only the necessary details on the front. We like the shiny silver ADATA logo which is set-in to the box and reflects various colours in an almost holographic way.
Included in the package is a short USB 3.0 cable and a quick start guide – although we aren't really sure why anyone would need this.
The front of the device is also very shiny. It is made of a brushed Stainless Steel and as such is silver but like the ADATA logo reflects back a various array of colours, more often than not making it look brown.
At the bottom of the device is the USB connection, and a one-click Backup button. This is all you really need on this kind of device.
The device is quite thin, only 8.9mm and has nicely rounded edges .
The back of the device features 4 small feet built into the metal surface. This will allow a tiny bit of air to circulate around the device. To keep the device looking nice, ADATA made sure the stainless steel case offers scratch resistance so you shouldn't see any wear and tear ever after a lot of use.
