Zotac GeForce GTX560 AMP! Edition Review

The Zotac Gefore GTX560 AMP! Edition arrives in a traditional Zotac styled box. Yes, it features another fire breathing dragon.

The bundle is substantial, with various power and video converters, a software CD and literature on the product. There is also a game coupon for the excellent Assassins Creed Brotherhood. An excellent bonus.

The cooler looks fantastic, with two bright orange, 11 blade fans taking centerstage behind the black shroud. The PCB is based around a matt finish which looks extremely attractive up close. It is a two slot design as would be expected.

It is SLI capable (2-way) and requires two six pin power connectors for operation.

The naked card in all its glory. The cooler is a very impressive design with a large circular central fin section which is supported by three copper heatpipes which run out to a supplementary aluminum cooling block at the side.

A breakdown of the specifications in GPUz.

  1. Yay, thats a mega card from Zotac !

  2. I like that a lot. Great price, its £30 less than the HD6950 too.

  3. that is one seriously fast clocked card. 1ghz? 460 eat your heart out !

  4. as always, great review man. I like the cooler. but I agree, it can get a bit toasty considering thedual fans etc.

  5. Im impressed, and I didnt think that was possible this year with nvidia. any ideas who is stocking it?

  6. Pretty good price, although I see a lot of sites complaining they are priced too high. Dont know how thats worked out. This one is faster than a Ti isnt it ? going on results.

  7. I think this updated series is a waste of time, the Ti was fine, just needed to price them better.

  8. I dont think that cooler is doing that good a job considering the heatpipe design and dual fans? Have zotac overvolted the card to make it stable at 950?
