3DMark is an essential tool used by millions of gamers, hundreds of hardware review sites and many of the world’s leading manufacturers to measure PC gaming performance.
Futuremark say “Use it to test your PC’s limits and measure the impact of overclocking and tweaking your system. Search our massive results database and see how your PC compares or just admire the graphics and wonder why all PC games don’t look this good.
To get more out of your PC, put 3DMark in your PC.”
The Sapphire Radeon R9 Nitro 380X outperforms the Sapphire R9 380 Nitro and GTX960 JetStream, but even when overclocked to the limit it can't quite catch the GTX970 – around 1,200 points behind.
The Sapphire Radeon R9 Nitro 380X lands in between the R9 380/GTX 960 and R9 390/GTX970.
The intro paragraph at the top of the article:
“Last week AMD released their mid range R9 380X and today we supplement our launch review by taking a look at the Sapphire Radeon R9 Nitro 380X. Right now AMD have no directly competing card at the same price (£200) so partners are able to offer up some competitive solutions to tempt the enthusiast gamer.”
That should be Nvidia, right? 🙂
