Intel launches Arc A770 graphics card starting at $329

After months of apparent delays, Intel is finally launching its top-end Arc A770 graphics card in October. The new GPU will launch on October 12th and targets RTX 3060-beating performance.

Intel finally showed off the Arc A770 GPU shortly after unveiling the new 13th Gen Core “Raptor Lake” CPUs. The Arc A770 will be the top-end for Intel's first generation ‘Alchemist' GPUs, offering a full ACM-G10 GPU with 32 Xe-Cores and up to 16GB of memory – an 8GB version will also be available.

This graphics card will be launching on the 12th of October at $329 for the 8GB model. Intel will be shipping a small amount of these cards with a limited edition reference cooler. We have yet to see any custom-cooled board partner cards announced.

Intel did not mention the upcoming A750 or A580 graphics cards, so these will likely come at a later date.

KitGuru Says: With Nvidia keeping the RTX 3060 around for the foreseeable future, it is going to be interesting to see these two GPUs head to head and what impact that has on the market overall. Still, it is hard to ignore that the RTX 40 series rollout is already kicking off and AMD will soon have new RDNA 3 GPUs too.
