Overclockers UK ups the ante in ongoing GTX 600 series price war

In a tactical bid to take the ongoing Nvidia GTX 670 and 680 price war by the throat, Overclockers UK is slashing the price of Asus DirectCU II cards for this weekend only.

The move sees Overclockers UK offering up some of the best deals currently available, and better still, each card is bundled with Splinter Cell Blacklist for FREE.

So which cards will be facing the blade of Overclockers UK's price-cutting sword?

First up is Asus' 2GB GTX 670 DirectCU II OC Gamer edition. Sporting Asus' tried-and-tested DCII cooler, the 2GB GTX 670 comes equipped with a Diablo mouse mat and Splinter Cell Blacklist PC game.

How much, you say? £189.95! Yes, you read correctly, that's a sub-£190, factory-overclocked GTX 670 with a high-end cooler, free game and Diablo mouse mat!

Head on over here to order yours before they're all gone.

Up next is another DirectCU II-cooled GTX 670 from Asus, but this time it's a 4GB variant. Got a nice 2560 x 1600 monitor? Fear not, the 4 gigabytes of VRAM offered by this brute will chomp through those pixels.

‘So, what's the price?' I hear you shouting. £227.99, that's what the price tag is!

Overclockers UK is selling the 4GB GTX 670 DirectCU II on this page. We can't see this one being around for long.

Finally, it's time to bring out the big guns. This time it's Nvidia's former-flagship single-GPU card facing the cut. Once again featuring Asus' efficient DirectCU II cooler, the 2GB GTX 680 is still a very potent card, even by today's standards.

£259.99. That's how much Overclockers UK is selling the Asus GTX 680 2GB DirectCU II V2 graphics card for. That's a fast piece of gaming hardware for a very likeable price.

As with the other two Asus cards on offer over the weekend, we can't see the stock on this one lasting long, so head on over to this page to order yours.
